The Music Teachers Network Review by David

David Music Teacher“I enjoy teaching the students MTN provides me with.  They are a diverse group of individuals that make teaching enjoyable. MTN provides me with students who really want to learn.  They also find students that are within my vicinity which is a plus. It is helpful that MTN takes care of billing and administration because it holds the teacher accountable and provides an open line of communication.  It also lets the teacher focus on the teaching aspect of the job rather than worrying about paperwork.  They also require you to file lesson report for each lesson which really helps keep the teacher on top of each student.  I would definitely recommend MTN to other families or instructors because they are extremely professional and really care about matching their teachers with the appropriate students.  All in all I can testify that I have had and continue to have a great experience working for MTN.”

What Happens In Lessons?

Melissa did very well paying attention and learning new things this week. In her lesson, we worked through several pages of music theory, learned the right hand to part B of Fur Elise, worked on playing legato through a tricky section of Little Playmates, and practiced the first part of Chant Arabe. We also practiced transposing music. Melissa successfully played through Little Playmates in the keys of C, G, F, and D. She even figured out part of it in the key of G flat. Very impressive, Melissa! Great job. :-)
