I believe that the studio atmosphere should be calm, relaxed, and easy going. The lesson should go at a good pace, not a lot of talk, and a lot of playing, only stopping something needs to be fixed, or to take the horn off the face. The only time I will become "Heavy Handed" is when I see a lot of potential and the refusal to practice. That to me is a waste.
